1931 National Duolian
(Serial No. C417) Blues approved! Excellent condition cosmetically, excellent condition soundwise. This has most of the original Duco crystal finish, and this color is called black walnut. Has the 12 fret body, original hardware, original neck, slot peghead and flat f-holes. Luthier Jack Dillan trued the neck straight and installed an invisible carbon fiber truss rod in the neck. You cannot see it but the neck will never bow again. Jack reused the original phenolic fretboard to leave the guitar as original as possible. He reset the neck and set the guitar up. Its pretty amazing for a National - the action is fingerstyle low all the way up the neck. The front of the peghead is stamped National Duolian and the serial number and patent applied for stamp is on the end. Neck is straight, neck set is excellent, and the guitar has the sound you are looking for in a metal body. Comes with a newer hard shell case.
